Dr. Ronald Kurlan DDSRonald Kurlan DMD

Dr Ronald Kurlan graduated in 1973 from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He enlisted for a two year tour of duty in the United States Air Force upon graduation. In the air force he obtained the ranking of captain and was stationed in Northern Michigan for two years near the city of Sault Saint Marie as a dental officer.

After his two year tour with the Air Force, Dr. Kurlan returned to his home state of New Jersey. He purchased a dental office from Dr. Joel Gelbman in 1975 and has been serving the South Orange/Maplewood community for 35 years.

Dr Kurlan enjoys all phases of dentistry. His main objective is to help his patients keep their teeth for a lifetime with no discomfort in a relaxed atmosphere. Dr. Kurlan is a 38 year member of the American Dental Association and is a delegate of the New Jersey Dental Society. He is a member of Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity, the Newark Dental club, the Essex County Dental Society and the Bear Brook Study Club.

Dr Kurlan us married to his wonderful wife Helene and has three daughters: Michelle, Lori and Melissa. He loves traveling and has an extensive Ancient Coin collection.

Dr Kurlan is very happy to have taken in Dr. Koretzky and Dr. Shah with their valued expertise as partners to help him serve the South Orange/Maplewood area.

Steve Koretzky graduated University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey atop his class in 1995.He completed his residency at Beth Israel Medical Center in 1996. He was recipient of the William S. Kramer Award of Excellence for his academics. "I joined the practice of Dr. Ronald Kurlan in 1996 and became a partner in 2003."
Steve has been married for 10 years to his beautiful wife Elena and has a 2 year old son, Kyle. He is a diehard Colts and Yankee fan." Outside of work, I love to travel, run and play my guitar"

 

Dr. Neepa ShahNeepa Shah DMD

Neepa Shah graduated from Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ in 2000 as a chemical biology major. Dr Shah then continued her education at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey where she graduated in 2004. She completed her residency at Mountainside Hospital in Montclair, NJ in 2005.

Dr. Shah is a family dentist who enjoys treating patients of all different ages. From young children to adolescents all the way to senior citizens, she has wonderful chair side ability and is up to any challenge, big or small.

Dr. Shah is married to her wonderful husband Nick. She enjoys traveling, long walks and spending time with her husband and their two cats.
